To acquire a theoretical and practical training in the area of Instrumentation for Medical Imaging with particular emphasis on physical principles in obtaining the various types of medical imaging, in the principle of operation of instruments and techniques of image acquisition. Integration of basic knowledge to understand and relate the type of information that an imaging technique can provide, the physical principles on which it is based and on the instrumentation they use. Acquiring familiarity with medical imaging techniques commonly used. Ability to search and use the bibliography as well as other sources of information relevant to the research or technological development.
